Last Wednesday's picked started off great with the early pick 3 while knocking off too favorites, but we went 4 out of 7 on the rest of the card for 7 winners in 10 races. Below are the Free Parx Selections for Wednesday, November 10th, 2021.
Unfortunately, no horses from PA Derby day won at the Breeders' Cup over the weekend even with Jackie's Warrior and Hot Rod Charlie either favored or near favorite -- by the way 3-1 was a steal on Knicks Go! However, I think Knicks Go was the best horse and just has a higher cruising speed than the others, and no horse was going to push him after the BC Distaff led to a long shot winner from Japan because of the speed duel up front. Both the BC Sprint and BC Distaff had great finishes.
Let's find a 45-1 shot on today's card. Also I decided where possible to limit my selections with a solid opinion or a play -- every now and then I add in creative plays. All special plays of the day have significant meaning to my PARX Wednesday lunch bunch.
Race 1
None of these horses have shown much, so play the second time starter 7 Margie Darest - best chance for improvement - and move on.
Race 2
5 Halstaat for Uriah St Louis for the win. Interesting that Linda Fisher still owns but does not train. Always rooting for Uriah!
Race 3
Barclays Prime 100 Dollar Cheesesteak Play -Last out winner 7 Marianna Queen -- sometimes when they get hot; they stay hot!
If 4 Stuy Town baby can transfr turf form to dirt -- has a shot!
Race 4
Einstein Smart Play of the Day - 5 Janelle Dreams
Hopefully, for trainer Scott Lake's sake -- today is the day for 5 Janelle Dreams to win -- my crew has been riding him since this winter -- she almost won on turf about 10 weeks ago --she is a regular on the Wednesday card -- Let's get one Janelle, so we can all celebrate with Scott Lake! 8 Iza One --if Marianna Queen wins watch this one since she finished second to her last out.

Hall of Fame Play of the Day 3 Clemenza for Kathy DeMasi over the follwoing in an exacta:
5 Commissioner G and 7 Bucks Are Moving --but play 6 Sky Temple underneath since Solis and Pennington are winning at a healthy rate.
Race 6
The Snoop Dog Play of the Day -2 Joint and Several will be all speed and you will need plenty of Malox watching her down the lane -- could steal at a price.
10 Admiral Eastwood with 3 straight seconds --should finish in that place again -- play 8 Bavaria and 3 First Navy Admiral over the 10 Admiral Eastwood. Finally, in honor of tomorrow's Veteran's Day, play 3 First Navy Admiral with the 10 Admiral Eastwood in an exacta box.
Race 7
Rueben Special of the Day -- 4 Kid D'Oro
Play with 5 Skippin on Orchard -- winner of last two along with 7 Koan, and Kathy DeMasi's 8 Ruby Bleu. Add in 3 Hooray For Harvey at 10-1 to spice it up.
Race 8
Back on October 20th 4 Social Group ran second to the Einstein Smart Play of the Day Risque Rebel -- let's see if it can win this time but will need to beat the favorite 9 Off The Meds for the Ness / Pennington combo.
Race 9
With College Hoops staring last night - 6 Practical Coach with 2 Champion By Design led by their 5 Captain Chazz --there you have the trifecta! If we switch to Lax 4 Center Mad Maddie can complete the super.
