Had all 5 horses who crossed the finish line first in my picks but not on my horizontal tickets. The pick 5 returned over 2K with Ward winning the Turf Sprint, Echo Zulu with best performance on the day, Jose Ortiz with best ride of the day on Clement's Pizza Bianca -- So happy for Clement, Baffert wins Juvenile with Corniche, and Modern Games crossing the line first for Appleby. However, due to a vet jumping the gun Modern Games ran for purse money only and McPeek -- always finishing second at BC events continued his streak but won this time -- Tiz The Bomb wins from second place.

3 Space Blues, may be best horse for Godolphin and 1 Master Of The Seas are sent out for Charles Appleby --who has been winning with the horses he sends to the US. I will be rooting for 11 Got Stormy to get the win but needs to be over 10-1. As Always watch out for Aiden O'Brien!

Race 10 BC Distaff
6 Letruska is carryong the weight of the world on her shoulders as well as the hopes of Mexico. She may ust be the best. Speed carried Corniche to victory yesterday, but just like Gamine and Echo Zulu yesterday, the pundits keep trying to build scenarios where she gets into a duel and passed by another horse. If she makes it to the stretch with the lead it is over, but who dares to challenge her. the scond and third choces are Pletcher's 3 Malathaat and Brown's 2 Royal Flag -- I know 6 Letruska will be a short price, but we are here to see the best win!

Race 11 BC Turf
At this point, if the skinny ticket is right and you have bankroll add in all the Euro's. If you are on a budget like me then 13 Tarnawa is the favorite -- that's what is good for horse racing but not for bettors. The German horse Sisfahan is supposed to relish the firm turf which she will get at Del Mar. 10 Yabir demonstrated a furious closing kick in Belmont's Jockey Club Turf, but has a much shorter stretch here at Del Mar. Again watch out for any Aiden O' Brien horse or a Euro at long odds.

This is Brad Cox's race 5 Knicks Go will set the pace and 4 Essential Quality could grind out a victory if the speed gets too much on front end. I'll be rooting for Bill Mott's 6 Art Collector to win! however, I see 5 Knicks Go wire to wire.
