Last Wednesday's Parx Selections provided 9 out of 10 winners. Last Wednesday, I was unable to attend live racing at Parx because of a visit to Keeneland, but I plan to return this Wednesday for live racing. Once again, I have included my specialty plays including my Hall of Fame Play of the Day which has won both weeks.
Looking forward to 2 Basso in Race 5 --Hopefully he can get the win and I can be with him in the Winner's Circle!
The below chart shows the horse’s likelihood of winning a race. “A” horses are most likely while (B) and (C) horses are not as likely, they may offer more value. The formation of the (A), (B) and (C) horses is derived from speed of horse, pace potential of race, training patterns, and track conditions.
RACE | A HORSES | B HORSES | C HORSES |
1 | 3 | 1,4 | |
2 | 2,3 | 4 | |

RACE 1
Einstein Smart Play of the Day:
3 Goddess of Snakes to win but also play the Trifecta since it will be easy as Pi -- 314 straight!
3 The Goddess of Snakes ships in from NY for trainer Chad Summers with Carmouche sticking in the saddle - contender but no value. 1 Crimson Lillie was bumped at the start in a race where the DQ'd winner interfered with every horse in the race and caused to horses to lose their riders in the first quarter- Gilardo and Colletti are winning at 18 % together. Finally, first time starter 4 Relentless Candy debuts with lasix.
RACE 2
The Old Finish Line Cafe Daily Double Play: 2 with 4 for a ten dollar bet!
Home Team Stables' 2 Holiday Raid is the only horse with any current form if you throw out the last race, but 3 Go Metro Girl finished 6 lengths in front of her last time out -- now she's 5-1 while 2 Holiday Raid is the ML fav at 8/5 -- ummh? 4 American Money also exits the same race as the two previously mentioned horses, but switches jocks to the bug dropping 7 pounds -- maybe it makes a difference in a race with no standouts.
RACE 3
4 Sweet Wilemina has won 6 in a row and seems most likely since she is the controlling speed, but it won't be easy because 2 It's So Easy comes in off a layoff moves turf to dirt and is a last out winner. Finally, 6 Like a Pro looks to turn the tables -- Uriah can do that!
RACE 4
Now OFF Turf -- 6 Creative Joy and 5 A Bit of Bad Boujee
RACE 5
Barclay's Prime 100 Dollar Cheesesteak Play
2 Basso for the win with exacta play 2 with 4,6 and 4,6 with 2 -- play the evens in a tri box 2,4,6
2 Basso ships in from NY and the Jersey Shore -- Trainer Sacco and owner Fazio had Joevia who finished third in the Belmont a few years back -- horse is coming to win! 4 Alpha Sixty Six trained by HOF trainer DeMasi who claimed horse from Pletcher and now adds blinkers - a 43% winning move! 6 Prime Time Player had his goodies taken away after the last race-- maybe that makes the difference.
RACE 6
Paco Lopez trying to have the most wins on the year will be giving his all on 5 Instafamous while the lukewarm Morning Line Fav 8 Tate just has to run his race to win here. But watch out for the 6 American Unity Pennington / Ness combo first off the claim scoring at 36%.
RACE 7
Last Out Winner 5 Le Petite Papillon for trainer Paricia Farro who also sends out 4 Charity stripe (longer half of uncoupled entry angle in play here!). In the case for 5 Le Petite Papillon, know her early but you'll need some antacids down the lane. 3 Flashing Diamond goes out for the Solis barn who has been hot during this fall meet.
RACE 8
Taken OFF TURF: 15 Tomarie and 16 Sense a Million
RACE 9
1 Hopeful Treasure is the key to the race. If he does not run with 3 Admiral Abe and contest the pace the 3 Admirable Abe wins on the front end. If the race is contested, look for 5 Dontmesawithme to pass those two in the stretch.
RACE 10
11 Terpeye and 8 Your Pal ran 2nd and third last out -- should include 3 Dilly Silly Philly Ness and Pennington in the finale as well
